Liams 2nd "1st" Birthday!!

On Oct 21st we celebrated what should've been Liams 1st birthday!! I made a cake and even put a candle on it! He is still changing all of the time and is such a joy to our family! So hard to believe that he will be 15 mo on Mon already! Here are a few new things he's doing:
*He gets into EVERYTHING these days and is constantly climbing on top of or into stuff (i.e. the kids little picnic table and the drawer under the stove). I don't remember Aynslee doing this as much so it must be the "boy" in him!!
*He can stand up for longer periods of time but is still not walking and won't even attempt to take a step! He sure can crawl fast though and can even get up the stairs quickly when daddy is chasing him!!
*He has learned to blow kisses in the last week and has now perfected it down to the sound effects!!!!
*He has become quite the daddy's boy lately (and it is killing his momma)!!
*He has gone 2 nights without a bottle and is doing wonderfully!!! This is a big step for him as he has been pretty attached to his "baba". This was different for us b/c Aynslee gave hers up on her own the week before she turned 1.
*He is still a MUCH better sleeper than his sister, often times going to bed before 8:00 and not waking until after 7:00. He usually takes 2 naps on the weekends but only takes 1 at daycare since he's in the "big" class now!
*Speaking of "big" class....he is doing wonderful in his new class at daycare (he's in Toddler 1 which is all 1 yr olds). He sits in a regular chair (little one, of course) at the table to eat and takes naps on a mat. He has adjusted very well to this class but I keep hoping he decides he wants to walk like all of his new friends soon as well!! It's also different in that it is more structured than the infant classes where the babies still do things on their own schedule. He still loves going to daycare!!

Unfortunately he has also been sick off and on for the last few months as well. He has had a nasty cough that keeps coming and going. I finally called the dr's office the other day and they decided he needed to be seen that day. He had a double ear infection :( and what they called bronchialitis. What that amounts to is having to do breathing treatments 2x/day for 2 weeks. He absolutely hates doing them and it's a constant struggle through the whole thing. We just hope we can keep him fairly healthy through these dreaded winter months!
